We just installed a 6 ton system in Wyoming The in House side was about $20,000 The loop field for 6 pipe horrizontal ground loops cost around $15,000.00. If you were to do vertical loops 300′ deep per ton the estimated cost would be $25,000.00 The heat produced is approximately $5.00 of energy for every $1.00 of electricity. There were some electrical costs for upgrading the panel. I don’t have the information available for that item.
